Dr. Jacques Hacquebord is a nationally recognized leader in orthoplastic surgery and the Co-Director of the Orthoplastic Surgery Program at NYU Langone Health, along with Jamie Levine, MD, as well as Chief of the Division of Hand Surgery. With dual expertise in orthopedic trauma and microsurgical reconstructive techniques, he leads a dynamic multidisciplinary team that brings together skeletal repair, vascularized soft-tissue reconstruction, nerve repair, and restoration of function, into a unified treatment plan.
Dr. Hacquebord’s clinical focus is on complex limb trauma, amputation reconstruction, nonunion and malunion of the upper extremity, microsurgical free‐tissue transfer, osseointegration, and comprehensive care pathways for patients who require both orthopedic and plastic surgery expertise. He emphasizes early coordination between orthopedic, plastic-microvascular, rehabilitation and prosthetics services to optimize outcomes in limb salvage and reconstructive cases.
